Fetal 2D ECHO Scan is necessary or not?
Last month at the time of anamaly scan radiologist recommended fetal 2d echo to me i am little bit confused about that....its harmfull to baby or not?and which week is perfect for 2D ECHO?

You are welcome. Check with your gynecologist, as per her advice u can do it.. dont worry... All will be fine

Yes. If they asked pls do. It uses ultrasound so doesn't harm <u>baby</u>

It's recommended now for high risk patients and since the radiologist himself has advised it u should definitely go for it.its like the routine ultrasound oly where they check for any abnormalities of the heart so there is no harm in it.also it should be done around 22-24 weeks for more accuracy.
