During pregnancy we often give importance to mental, emotional well being, eating for two, watching healthy.;; But we forget the most important element WATER....
And let me tell u pregnant or not drinking water is essential for the normal functioning of the body.; It is crucial for pregnant women to consume around 3ltrs of fluid everyday which can consist of water, milk,juices, tea ...
Here are some reasons as to why Water is an important element -
1) Dehydration - during pregnancy causes nausea,cramps,edema, constipation etc.. u can detect dehydration by checking the color of the urine.
2)UTI - is also generally common amongst pregnant women which can cause adverse effects. Drinking high volume of water will keep urinebdilutednans thereby reduces the risk of infection.
3) Edema - swelling of hands , legs ankles feet are also common n can be minimized by drinking water.
4) Amniotic fluids - the baby needs a pool of amnioticnfluid to snuggle inside the uterus and according to some studies drinking sufficient water will maintain the right amount of the fluid in the womb..
5) Constipation -; which gets worse once the iron supplements starts again drinking water helps avoid it.
6) Over heating of body temperature - the core body temperature increases for expectant mothers even in normal climate which leads to overheating of the body. Fri King water will keep the body cool and helps avoid the adverse effects of over heating. #healthypregnancy#babuchakra
