Got checked up for bp which was alarming 140/90

.. I'm scared as it's only the 8th week... Can I get some suggestions on how to control my BP issue through diet and exercise... I don't want to take medicine

BP is a serious issue <u>in</u> pregnancy, please consult your doctor and start medicines.

Talk to the doc for meds.; Take meds Daily and also go in for mild walks of allowed.; Avoid oily and fried stuff.; Make sure you have healthy home made food only. And yes don't stress.

Hi<br> You will be given medication, or it will lead to serious issues. Along with medication you must have a low sodium diet. Reduce the amount salt in your diet, eat small meals at frequent intervals, keep monitoring your BP often. Drink plenty of water and fluids. Eat high fibre diet with lot of veggies, salads and soups. Stay active, don't stress, get all your concerns clarified by your doctor
