Hey amrita in the initial days it is imp to keep a constant check on the time gap between feeds, now that he is 5months, his apetite has built up and he will be aware when hunger strikes(which i believe they are aware since birth) however it gets more baby-led feeding as they grow. And this 7hrs time will not remain constant. Batul at times will go 3-4hrs at a stretch and sometimes not more than an hr. So its all on them. 7hrs does seem a bit long. Try to give your breast in his mouth and see if he takes.earlier i used to try giving my breast to batul when she would sleep long but she never took it. So basically go by his cues. Days will get more sorted by each passing time.

Hey Amrita how are you both doing ?
The sleep time gradually increase as the baby grows...from next month or two onwards you will be starting with liquids and semi solids...
I don't think so this will hamper and also don't think this long sleep will be a regular phenomenon..it keeps changing , will regular it after he starts solids so should be fine as per me ...
