#gratitude post
This little vehicle, though doesn't have life, has nurtured our lives immensely in the last  6 years - through episodes of health, change in career tracks, ushering in our little one and watching her grow (quite literally) in it. It has been there like a rock.
100,000 kms and still going strong! It has been our little home (had books, CDs, diapers et al), almost our identity in many ways, atleast to those little children who wish me every evening even before I have stepped out of the door.
My most important benefactor in the last 4 years of being a working mother. Without this, I simply wouldn't have been able to carry out any job outside home & get back on time.
There's no address in the bylanes of Mumbai that's not imprinted on its tyres (3 sets changed ;-)).
It went through a change in lifestyle too- when we implanted a CNG tank on it, it still functioned optimally.
Even amidst the flooding on Tuesday, it drank up a lot of water but didn't give up on us!
This is our (my husband and mine) first loan-free asset.
It allowed me to manoeuvre it's wheels, make mistakes and get to driving.
The rays of sunshine on it are not just rays of hope but rays of life!
I hate to give it away but the show must go on! May it bless whosoever's life it touches!
Today is my last ride to work on it :(
