Guys, When is the much dreaded internal checkup scheduled? Around week 35-36 is it? Also, Is it mandatory?

Doesn't matter at all whether she puts her fingers or tongs inside! 😂<br>
Good that the birth canal would be wide enough...baby aasani see nikal aayega bahar... 😂😂

My previous doc started internal checkup way back from 7th month or even before that i guess. Lil Uncomfortable but i got used to it as she would check on every visit. The one tht i am refering now did not do until my last visit. Differs doc to doc. Dont get scared. You will hv to relax your muscles and not restrict it and for tht you will have to calm yourself. Hey mine was done at my 39th week, it is upto the dr. , whther checked or not but. And yes its uncomfortable like all said.

Doctors see the position of the baby in the scan. If the baby got lowered,; they will go for internal assessment I think. Don't stress about this. Just adjust for 2-3 mins. As shreya said,; you are going to deliver the baby through the same route. So be prepared.

Engagement is best assessed by internal checkup. Also they will see cervical canal dilatation etc when labor starts same way<br>
Don't worry. Try to divert ur mind to another fun or funny thing.
