guys y my mil keep saying again nd again to give janm ghutti to my daughter? nd today she was saying that uske sr pr jo soft part h wo abi tk hard ho jana chahiye tha jo puri trh se abi nhi hua h. her 8th week is running. pls suggest what should i do and is there any harm in giving janm ghutti? what r d pros nd cons of janm ghutti? nd is baar jb main 1.5 months wale vaccinations k liye gai thi yo wahan koi pediatrician nhi tha to baby ka weight height wagarh nhi check krwa paye. kl maine apne hubby se kaha ki kisi pediatrician ka pta kro baby ki well being check krwani h to he said tum hmesha doctors k peechhe q pdi rhti ho. is dis a ryt attitude towards my baby?
yes as Priya said, take ur mil along with u to meet the doc and ask in front of her whether u should give Janam ghutti as ur mil is insisting, ur doc will explain it well. also to make ur hubby understand the importance of health, keep sending him baby health related articles and discuss those with him.

yeah.....priya is right visit doctor with both ur hubby n mil bcoz now a days nothing cud b given baby without consulting <u>doc</u>

You must surely have a pediatrician... Talk to him calmly.. Tell him suppose some day if we have an emergency what would we do.. atleast we will have some option... don't take it otherwise...I wish your child always remains healthy and happy... just to convince him you will have to tell him all the cons...<br>
And my son is 7 months old yet the soft part is not hard... it's takes time to be hard...even around one year it can take... so just ignore... and janm ghutti is not recommended now a days...so, try to make her understand.
