hai,my son is 10 days old.his bilirubin was16 on 6th Dec ,after phototherapy it became 9.8.I rechecked it on 10th Dec ,it was 11.2,his weight increased about 100gm so my docter said nothing to worry.but now also his eyes are light yellowish.how long it will take to change.?shd I rpt the test?
feed your baby every 3hrs without fail. Yes it is difficult but it has to be done. if feeding is proper stools and susu also will come into a cycle and bilirubin will be out of the body soon. average for a day baby should increase min of 25gms.
