Masaaley Wala gud!!

Winters are almost here and it's time to gorge on heavier meals..paratha's, gajar ka halwa etc are popular winter foods.

Here is something which can help us digest all this and also keep us warm. Consuming about 2 tsp of this gud after meals can protect us from catching cold and Cough too!!. This also helps in relieving pain in the body and solves many menstrual issues.

Ingredients (for 10-15 servings)

250g good quality red jaggery (broken in pieces)

2 tsp Desi ghee

1/2 tsp hing

2 tsp sabut zeera

1 tbsp ajwain

1/2 tsp kuti kaali mirch

2 tsp Moti saunf

2 tsp saunth or dry ginger powder

Method

1. Take a heavy bottom kadai and heat it. When hot add ghee and let it melt for the tadka.

2. Add Hing, zeera, ajwain and saunf and let it crackle. Now add jaggery pieces and about 1 tbsp water which will help it melt.

3. Mix everything well. Add saunth and kaali mirch and again mix well.

4. Once everything mixes well and jaggery melts, switch off the gas.

Let it cool for a few minutes but try to take it out in a steel container in semi liquid form only.
This masala gud will stay good for even a month in a steel container at room temperature. You can scoop about 2 tsp and consume after meals for best results.
Please always store it in a steel container only!!

Ok dear <font color ="#3b5998"><b> @63713ddee0852e00159ad6fc </b></font> .. I add all these for making nit kind of medicinal..waise yaar Punjab me one gets such good jaggery.. whenever my mom visits she brings that and gud waali shakkar too..just yummy
