hey meju, people say don't eat. i mean the elders. Actually papaya and pineapple in large quantities do cause uterine contractions. although it has to be in large quantities, and i am not going to mention how much, just for the sake of not giving out ideas to anyone... infact there are many foods which cause uterine contractions, but we are having them on a daily basis because in small amounts they do not cause any harm.

there is a myth that pineapple and papaya should not be consumed in pregnancy but I had both and all was well. but pineapple and papaya <u>b</u>efore eating please check with your Dr .

There is no harm in eating a small portion of mango. Mango is not a hot fruit that is a myth. Nature produces mango in the warm weather and hence it actually has a cooling effect. Eat mango as a snack to ensure you don't have the excess sugar effect. Having mango like aam raas or milk shake with lot of sugar can lead to excessive weight gain.
