Hey Urmila,never hesitate to seek docs help ( even if newborns need medical care at this stage,plz give them) .its better to administer medicine than let the baby suffer. My lo took 10 days antibiotics,but shes fine now. Gharelu nuskha is take some ajwain,warm it in a pan and put it in a muslin cloth,make a potli of it,ensure its euther too hot not to cold to not work, and give this warm conpress on chest and back,let baby smell the potli for a few seconds,keep this by his bedside near head. Next one is warm some mustard oil and give massage on chest,back,neck,feets. One more is take nutmeg, make a paste in warm water and apply it on babys forehead just like a tika (not much as the baby is too small). Keep the baby warm,usually head,toes and hands are exposed which cause babys to catch cold. Cover these appropriately. Keep them close to yourself or your family members,body touch and heat works wonders. Hope they get well soon.

You can visit your doctor if it's aggravating ...if under control massage mustard oil on the feet and hands n chest ...<br> Put a few drops of eclyptus oil on the bedsheets ....tc
