hi vanita. so to good to hear that u r using a car seat which is the best way to travel with ur little one. I am telling u from experience. we have travelling thousands of kms with my baby in the car seat. so some of things that I do: buy a big and shiny possibly musical rattle and hang it on the car seat. make ur baby sit on the car seat at home this helps getting him used to the car seat. take ur baby for shorter drives in the car seat. and keep a breastfeeding pillow in handy. in case baby gets very cranky get him on the pillow and try to feed. and if that also doesn't help. stop the car for sometime get some fresh air and continue to ur destination. my baby also used to get cranky as soon as the car started and wanted to come to me. I didnt use to pick her immediately and eventually she sleeps fine. u can also give a pacifier. hope this helps.

thank you ladies for the quick replies. this is a sudden change hence asked. so far the used to sleep off in a bit ...but somehow last 2 times has been howly. I am based at kandivali east Reno.

cot us best option. to put baby in while driving . if baby goes of to sleep cot helps n baby r more comfortable. it win win situation
