Hello Goodevening all. My 4.5 month old baby is not taking breastfeed properly. She is not having gas problem. She is crying a lot. When trying to feed she deny. Should I start giving her bottle feed or cerelac or other thing ? Pls suggest me what to do. I am not sure that she is feeling hungry or anything else.

Use a comfortable nursing pillow, I still use nursing pillow for a comfortable position. You can also keep a small stool under your legs. Always feed on silent and dimlighted room, do not use cell phone at the time of feeding, gently carass baby's hair. Make it a quality time between you and the baby, you can make a mix of hing and ghee apply on the naval and gently massage.

Please don't give anything until six months. Exclusively breastfeeding is recommended until six months. Burp your baby after every feed well and don't put the baby flat on the bed immediately after feeding. It looks like colic only. If not settling please meet your pediatrician for advises
