You can look up for the vdos released this month on choosing babycarriers by BabyChakra. <br>
For a 4 month old,  you could use a Ring Sling,  Wraps,  Meh Dai or even  SSC (soft structured carrier) <br>
There are many Indian vendors who make awesome carriers.<br>
Do try to attend a  Babywearing meet-up close to ur place.Try out the carriers available to know what carrier you are comfortable with.<br>

Yes you can. Read reviews of some of the carriers listed on Babychakra. I use Anmol Ssc and find it super comfortable and easy to wear.
