A newborn is so fragile as such.How did you; people start giving baby a bath with confidence?Here, few elder ladies give bath to the little ones.I wouldn't handle even a doll like that!Holding the baby upside down,patting so harshly!I gasped on hearing this only!😨I would never want anyone to handle my baby like that.Is there anyone who started giving bath to the baby themselves?What are the cautions to be taken? TIA

After 15 days I started all on my own as till then I wasn't able to sit properly...I haven't used any bathing essential as chair or anything.. though it's recommended.... At my place everyone baths baby on their legs, I followed it... You really don't have to pick up the sticky oily baby body, just let him lying down in your legs n do ... When he started sitting I used <u>tub</u>

Okay I got this bath chair for Uday from Mee Mee which is excellent and the baby just sits in it . . Initially I was tooooo scared to bathe him myself but me and Joy had to do it together or maalish waali aunty would help me . . Slowly I learnt to do it on my own and now no stress at all . .

Well we had kept a Maalishwali n she use to do it.. in any case till the time naval doesnot dry up only sponge the baby.. after that bath...
