hello mommies, im breastfeeding my close to 2 months old son. how do i access if milk is sufficient for him?? sometimes he cries even after feeding. it's not because of colic, as colicky cry is different. should i start top feed??

hi dear... the first three months are like that... you feel like you have been feeding like forever!! if your baby has 6-7 pees a day and is gaining weight then he is getting enough breastmilk.. breast milk supply works on demand and supply basis, and the initial months are crucial in building the supply... hence baby will be more demanding... check if baby is sleeping at breast and tickle under feet or ear lobe and awaken him till he sleeps peacefully...

Hi. No need to start top feed in my opinon. Moms are well prepared for feeding. You should read the many useful articles Breastfeeding: The Basics and more

hello dear, as the baby is too small he will require the feed too often.
i suppose u should ask ur doctor for the same. as if the weight is increasing properly. than no need to give top feed. let the baby adjust to the feed first. if he is sleeping while feeding tickle his feet or on area under his chin.
