When I bought a soother for my baby everybody warned me against it.. that he will get used to it, won't take your breast and what not.. but nothing like that happened.. I never used to give him micj.. sometimes when he just wouldn't sleep(even when he wanted to)when we were out.. it was used very rarely and hardly till he was 3-4 months.. later even when I wanted to give him he never took it.. he used to take it out..<br> So yes, if possible don't give him very often.. only when you really feel the need to.. and about honey they say to avoid till 1 yr.. so you can buy any other.. <br> This was my personal experience.. can't say the same for others
