Hello mommies...

So, this month I have taken up a challenge to get myself fit and healthy. Day-3 🏊

I was always on the heavier side, 65kg was my ideal weight throughout my school and college days. When I got the job and started working I gained about 3-5 kgs which would keep fluctuating between 65-70 kg.

But when I got married, I somehow gained 5 kgs more, so once my pregnancy was detected I was at 75 kgs.

And guess how much I gained during my 9 months, 15 kgs 😱 There was not a single day during those 9 months when I thought of eating sensibly and hence the result, 90 kgs and a cute little one!

But thanks to exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and still going good at 19 months, I lost 10 kgs without any workout.

Now presently am at 83 kgs, I gained 3 kgs in last 3 months as I am spending a lot of my time sitting and spending on my blog. But its never too late to realise what's wrong is going on with our bodies both inside and outside.

I was getting more and more lethargic, I feel like eating all the time and my body has started aching when I wake up in the morning. After bearing all those pregnancy and delivery pains I am now too afraid of these pains, can't even bear a littlest of pain now.

There is one more factor which contribute to my excess weight and that's Hypothyroidism and Pcod.

There are mommies here on Babychakra who are my inspiration @aditi manja @asha chaudhry @princy khurana to name a few, they are an example that we can still control our lives the way we want and controlling body weight is easiest of all if worked on properly.

I have started my workout regime with Swimming as that's something I love to do. Day-1, Monday I chose to walk for 1 hour but I easily got bored.

I find swimming an all over workout and its light on joints too. I will write more about benefits of swimming for losing post pregnancy weight in my other post.

Today was second day of swimming and am already feeling a change in myself. I am thinking of starting 1 hr of aerobics from today evening. Let's see how it goes and will share my experience with all you mums.

Now I have a question, I am using a sunscreen before taking a dip in pool and after bath am moisturizing my body with milk cream. But I am getting tanned too much and it's more on my face and my body feels too dry.

Can anyone suggest me a good waterproof sunscreen and moisturizer?
