no toys for a one month old. no stuff toys as baby might suffocate on them if we are not careful. you could however have something like a play gym which has colourful toys hanging from them. baby watches them and is a good exercise for the eyes. also take the baby out in the garden and let the baby look at the plants and trees. babies get very fascinated by them
