I recently learnt from my daughter's friend's mom and a few teachers at school that cut onion and leave it open next to the pillow overnight and cold cough and fever will be out in a day or two maximum. I tried it and YES IT WORKED. please do this.

For a baby this young you only have to follow the medications prescribed by the doctor. You can give steam to help the blocked nose. If there is phlegm then a gentle chest massage using small cups for suction can help loosen the phlegm and baby will be able to cough it up.
