Hello mom's.. When my daughter was 9 months old she got full chest cold and fever and fever doesn't decrease after 3 days doctor prescribed antibiotics.. And now she is 11 months old.. My mom got fever with cough and my daughter more attached to my mom so my daughter also got fever and cough doctor waited for 5 days but not decreasing so again he prescribed antibiotics is it good to use antibiotics like this... Plzz help me

Hi No it's not good. My daughter too had fever, cough and cold for past 10 days but her doctor did not prescribe antibiotics, he said its a byphasic viral fever and it went now with just paracetamol. If I'm you then I will change the doctor and see.

Anon<br> Trust your doctor. Now that there is an infection you have been prescribed with tablets. Without any such issue if we self medicate there rises the issue. Don't worry. Steaming will help relieve congestion, give a coctition of tulsi, pepper, fennel, cumin, Corriander seeds, turmeric, filter and give two spoons of the same to your baby. TC

Hey it's not good to overview antibiotics but if the situation is bad you can't help it..you have to go for medicines ...<br> Trust your doctor..give enough of fluids and juices to flush out the side effects of antibiotics...the baby will be fine soon don't worry..
