hello, my baby is a week old and weighed 3.5kg at birth. since day four he has yellow secretion from from his eyes. the pediatrician told me it's an eye infection and prescribed ciplox eye drops. the problem still persists. I am worried. is it normal in infants?
ya it is normal.my baby has d same. now he is 3week old and that yellowish from eyes gone away by own.

hi. my baby also had infection which got ok in 5 to 6 days as I went to doc after 2 days.. and he had also asked to massage the points of the starting of nose..near eye area as it helps

Yes this is normal as the baby picks up some infections while passing thru the vagina.
