solar eclipse shud never be seen with naked eyes. the sun rays are really bright at that time. its a scientific reason, its always advised to wear black glasses and then move out if necessary

Please don't get scared unnecessarily n scare others as well. If you believe in something please feel free to follow it but let's not create unnecessary panic here. I dint follow anything n I'm holding a healthy baby now n breastfeeding.

Thanks Neha.
we should follow precautions. My neighbor during her pregnancy saw solar eclipse with naked eyes and her boy had defect in eyes. whether its myth or science we should take proper care.

So here is the link someone shared on BabyChakra. It logically explains scientific reasons behind dos and don'ts. I think we all should read it once.
It is scientifically proven that the radiations emitted by Sun during eclipse are not good for pregnant or sick people as they are very sensitive. It is not a custom or a tradition but these dos and don't are born out of science only. I had read an article on Baby Chakra yesterday that clearly mentioned all this. Will share a link as well.
