My husband has just got ten days leave. plus my hospital is around 2 hours away from home. my mom is sceptical about waiting for too long as recently she saw two miscarriages at last moment when there were less movement and till the time they reached hospital the baby was no more.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; though i have been active throughout my pregnancy not gained lean and tall with a small tummy which from a week or so is always bloated and hard. so my mil nd mom is after my life to get induced.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br> i am equally confused about this whole <u>process</u>

If baby is in the right position and ready for birth plus if the cervix is also ready then an induction will be successful. Just a question why induction and why not wait for normal labor to start ? If baby is doing well and placenta is also healthy then you could wait till week 40.
