I had given a blood test for my triple marker test and since then this mark is not going. I called up the gynac and she suggested thrombopobe ointment however i am worried if this can cause any infection or something. Though the doc has assured me its nothing to worry but still a bit concerned why the mark.
Anybody experienced similar marks on blood tests?

It happens dear sometimes while drawing blood and no need for thrombophobe. Thrombophobe is for bigger clots/thrombosis due to iv lines etc, it's very small so chill It will resolve on its own in 2-3 days. Happened with me too when I went for GTT.

I had this mark at the place where needle was inserted after my surgery earlier. I used Thromofobe ointment then.

Dont worry Nilofer shaikh......its very common no need to worry.....muze b yeh ho jata h....yeh koe infection nahi h...
