Hi, my son had the same problem .I never had the heart to give him any meds for colic. Wht helped was applying hing on around his naval everyday. Massage the babys stomach in clockwise direction and curl the knees towards the stomach in a gently manner like cycling. Also try keeping , a warm towel on the babys tummy this can assist gas movement . Try playing some light music. Pls ensure that the baby burps after every feed. Try to hold your baby as upright position as possible during feeding.I avoided all food items tht would give me gas.I even cut down my dairy intake . this really helped my son. hope this helps ur baby too. if u not happy with ur doc advice try taking her to another doc.

both my babies had mild colic. but i would give colicaid at the first sign of colic and hold the Baby close for as long as possible. I didn't think twice abt medicating becoz meds really work and end the suffering. it settled in couple of weeks.
