Hi dear..want to share my experience...i was thinking the same...n i started giving bottle feed to my baby..still i realised he s not satisfied ..my baby would sleep only n only through my milk feed..but i realised that my baby is crying a lot first i thought may be he s addicted to bottle feed so i again started giving him once in a day still he dint stopped crying as a result i consulted pead...n to my shock my poor baby was a victim to bile infecrion caused due to water used during feeds..let me tell u i used RO WATER THAT TOO DOUBLE BOILED WITH STERILISED BOTTLE...but my pead said no matter how much we take care some babies are sensitive n might get affected..
on this note dear i would only suggest do not give bottle feed untill its too necessary..for me it has been a difficult phase to see my baby crying ...i feel too guilty by giving him bottle......m sure ur baby will soon settle down as per his need...takecare..

And the doctor is right..; please do not introduce bottle if you can feed the baby.. it's the best you can give him..

Dear, frankly speaking, breastfeeding is totally demand and supply based. As much as you feed, the more you would produce.. u can have food that helps in milk production, like shatavari, jeera, garlic, masoor ki daal, methi, Jaggery, kopra etc..; A baby this small is still learning how to latch on and feed properly... And bottle feeding is much simpler than breastfeeding for babies, so they will prefer it more, resulting in not showing interest in breastfeeding at all. If you are able to feed your baby, it's the best for him, please continue. Baby's tummy is very small now, so after they pee or poo, it becomes empty again and they want milk... Also, if he is peeing at least 6 times per day, it's fine and you don't need to do anything else. Crying doesn't always mean that baby is hungry.. they latch because it gives them a feeling of comfort, being snuggled close to you! You can check for other issues like colic, or he might be sleepy, tired, or sometimes baby cries; just like that also. Your milk production is still building up, don't worry n keep feeding.. the more you feed, the more you would make.
