the fetal NST is a non-stress test done to check fetal well-being n if hes getting enough oxygen. normally babies heartbeat should increase during&nbsp; movements. this test will check if this is happening or not. a band will be applied around ur belly n u will be given a button to press when u feel baby move(roughly this is the procedure)<br> ur doc will record heartbeats variation in response to movements. it lasts fr abt 20 mins. no stress is applied to baby hence the name. it requires no preparation.<br> all the best.
