hi all I m 9week pregnant..and I had slight brownish discharge last week..my gync told nothg to worry and no need of medicine...and today there is very little brown colour..I m scared now..y this is so..and I have a scanning at 12 week ..for knowing the risk of down syndrome ..this is also making me bit tensed...wat to do...
Hie.. It can be yur left over periods blood ... Or possibly if yu have low lying placenta... Brown in color means it's an old blood. Don't be scared... Jst take complete bed rest.. Don't don't do any exercise or walk... Try not to bend much... All ll be fine.. Incase it increases keep yur doc informed..

The scan for down syndrome is a routine test done for all pregnancies. It is normal and no cause for concern. Keep a watch on the discharge though. If you see brown discharge again report to the doctor.
