Hi all, Im blessed with baby girl. 45 days old and Im vegetarian..Will that affect my milk production? Baby birth weight 3.3 lowest weight till 3-4 weeks 2.8 and current week weight 3.6kgs and 55 cms..Im much worried why baby weight not increasing. I had csection, so first few weeks she took both formula and bf.. But from 20th day rarely she take formula (max 30ml per day).. I also fear groundnut oil used for cooking by Amma decreasing my milk production (Her addition of oil also more compared to others). Please advice as vegetarian am I missing more nutrients??

Hi first no food decreases your breast milk but worry and stress can . So be calm , baby is in good weights. You can use groundnut oil or any oil for that matter. Leafy vegetables are very good, dry fruits, nuts, milk and milk products.
