Hi all.My baby is 27 day old.when he was born he was reddish and very fair.after 6 days he become dark his face body turned dark but hands and legs are fair.Im using Johnson baby soap.is tat the effect of soap or it's normal.im worried his hands and legs are fair but face ND body turned dark.

in the first year the complexion of baby keeps changing. so this is very common and happens to everyone. my pead had said no massage till baby is 21 days old. i've always used j&j so there is nothing wrong with the soap.

Johnsons baby has nothing to do with that..actually when a child is born his skin looks more fair but gradually it darkens a little..also massage with coconut oil or a good brand baby oil..other oils could be a bit hard..
