bottle feeding provide more milk in less time . your baby takes enough milk through bottle that's why he sleeps for more hrs...
bottle feeding is easy as compared to bf..

Thank you Subha..I directly feed him most of the times...and only feed him through bottle twice while he is sleeping...and he is going on a stretch of about 5 - 6 hours even without feed at evening/nights ...Will milk intake reduce once they reach third month milestone...Has anyone had the same problem ?

I guess it's common for the 3rd month completed baby to sleep continuously for more hours without feed. I hope it's not more than 4hrs. My baby is 10weeks and he sometimes sleep for 4hrs during night, without a feed. Are you exclusively pumping and feeding him only through bottle ? haven't you fed him directly before ? If he rejected direct feed, then you should've given your expressed milk know, why did you gave formula? If the wet nappies are more than 6 then his intake is correct

Hi Divya. My doctor advised me not to give bottle. I had given him expressed milk by spoon. Feed on demand when baby wants.
