I have no idea about Darjeeling..but I did travelled to mount Abu when my lo was 4.5..all that we carried was medicines for emergency ( crocin, metrodgyl, econorm, baby ors, bandage, dettol, sanitizer, digital thermometer, some anti fungal creams) baby body lotion, body wash, shampoo, since he was exclusively breast fed at that time..I was always carrying an extra pair of my clothes and his clothes, some daipers, wet wipes, garbage bags, sanitizers, daiper changing sheet in my handbag..
while travelling by car through hills I used to breastfeed my baby ...that's it

hey sujata.. I have been to Darjeeling last year.. you will have to travel by road a lot.. and that too in hilly roads.. many do get vomiting tendency.. so do think before taking the baby.. from kolkata you will have to travel by train almost 6-8 hours.. after that road journey..

if you are breastfeeding your baby, then seriously no preparation needed except a nursing bra, dupatta or stole to cover while feeding. warm clothes, medicines that's it
