Banana’s are very healthy. Banana cake makes for a great dessert to accompany any meal. The aroma that emanates from the cake carries the sweet essence of bananas. The cake tastes sweet without adding milkmaid. It’s very easy to make. Best part is we have made it from multi-grain flour.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup yoghurt
100 grams melted butter
2 cup multi-grain flour
1 & 1/2 tb baking powder
1 tb baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 banana blended into fine paste
1 cup milk
1/4 cup Sugar/ khand powder
1/4 cup Limca or thumps up
3 tb chocolate powder
1 tb cinnamon powder
Method:
1. In a bowl first we will add butter & sugar. We will mix it with beater. Then add yoghurt.
2. Seive dry ingredients with flour. Mix all these with beater.
3. Add Limca , vanilla essence, banana purée, milk. Gradually fold in the yoghurt mixture to ensure no lumps remain.
4. Mix all ingredients properly. Now add cinnamon powder.
5. Grease a container with butter. Dust it with dry flour. Now add the mixture.
6. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes. If making in cooker , then first remove the casket, add salt & heat it.
7. Bake it for 30- 45 minutes at 180 to 200 degrees Celsius. If in cooker then on medium flame for 35-45 minutes.
8. Insert a toothpick and check. If it comes out clean, it means the cake is fully baked. Slice it and serve with tea and coffee.
