I suffered a lot of constipation during my initial weeks. It is caused by a lot of progestrone going into your body from medicines and injections. I have a perfect solution for that. 1) Take a lot of liquids like lemonade, coconut water etc. 2) Drink atleast 3 litres of water everyday. 3) Take a lot of roughage like cucumber, raw carrots, raw tomatoes, fruits like pear, guava, pomegranate etc. 4) Take 1 spoon full of isabgol husk powder (instant mix) mixed in 1 glass of water just before you sleep. Follow these four steps regularly and trust me you'll get better.

Hi Sangita.  constipation during pregnancy  is very common.  have small meals at least 5 number of meals . doctor advise to eat something every two hours .  have milk , curds , fresh fruits . increase fibre intake by adding more veggies and salads in plate . raisins are good source of fibre . you can munch on soaked almonds and other nuts and dry fruits.  walk daily without exerting yourself . sabza - basil seeds are not safe to consume during pregnancy. increase your water intake.  rather than hajmola take saunf.

constipation is common problem faced by many womens. you have to keep yourself hydrated all the day. eats more of fiber and fruits and veggies in order to avoid this situation. consult your doctor for medication if she thinks can be given to you.
