Hi Dr Bhavi Mody, my baby was 2.195kgs. at birth. He was following his growth pattern till 6 months. But between 6-9 months he has gained only 500 gms. He was weighing 6.250 kg. in 7th month... Recently he fell sick and used to vomit all food due to cough for 1.5 weeks. He eats very well otherwise 5 times a day, has food from all food groups and is still on breastfeed. He sleeps well and is highly active and achieved all his milestones on time. His paediatrician said if weight is low at 1 year too, blood tests may be required. Kindly guide me as to what i need to do. Can there be any underlying concerns?
