Hi. During day times I'm feeding my baby for 30mins in 2hr intervals. He too use to cry and wake up for feeds if the time exceed more than 2hrs.But during nights he hardly cries for feeds. sometimes he use to sleep for 3hr 30mins without crying for feeds. Is it normal? Even if I try to wake him and feed, it's of no use cos he just use to keep mouth idle and sleep. So in nights I use to feed him only when he wakes up. Is that fine?

if he is just two weeks.. I would suggest try feeding him every 2-3 hrs. there is no conclusive study as such, but some research shows that if young babies are not fed often their sugar level might drop down. and because head ( brain) forms the most party (atleast 20-25℅) of the body at that age, it gets most effective. so when the kiddo grows up he might have some learning problems

Yes but feed frequently in the day and ensure that you have minimum seven urine output in a 24 hour period. Over and above this keep a check on weight gain at every doctors visit.
