hi everyone.. my baby's mundan is on the 23rd of this month.. what preparations should I make... as in shud I buy a new razor.. where r they available.. any tips ll be helpful..

hi sweta, the people who do mundan usually have the razor in which bladed can be changed. the blades are the regular ones. ensure they take unused blade or offer one. my baby's mundan was done at palani. what worked in our favour was that there was too much activity going around, and baby sat observing all that while he was being shaved... you could take some toy which baby likes. make baby sit on someone's lap like your's or hubby's. be ready to offer breastfeed if you do, or have food ready on hand, something which baby likes. you would also need extra clothes, wet wipes and keep calamine lotion in hand in case of skin irritation for baby...
