going out in gardens and prompting him to come get his favourite toy or just follow me helped us. if it's fear of falling and getting hurt, he can overcome it if he falls on grass.

its absolutely fine...most of babies start walking after 18months...so need not to worry...only make sure..whenever he will start to walk...encourage him..and make sure he will not fall on his knees...cause if he hurt his knees he will fear to stand again..and thus will delay further things..so as a parents just take care and keep encourage him to walk..Use walker as well...

According to my paediatrician babies can start walking upto 18 months perfectly! Nothing to worry
