that does not sound like a real way of measuring how much milk u r makimg. the only way to judge the amount of milk child is having - if the child pees minimum 5 times in a day and is gaining weight steadily. if both are happening baby is getting sufficient. nothing else needs to be done.

Include veggies like bottle gourd, papaya, sago in ur diet and u can try also Satavri powder. Please don't have doubt that your body is unable to produce enough milk for your baby. The more u feed the more ur body produces.

Hi Anon, here are a few facts & suggestions for you. 1. All mother produce enough milk for their baby. The problem arises when we doubt that are start to supplement with formula. Then the body gets confused and reduces supply assuming that the baby needs lesser - so the trick is to keep feeding as often & as long as the baby wants & supply demand will settle in 72 hours. 2. Please do not compare with other mother or babies. All are different. Some women experience hardness with breasts are full (engrogement) while some dont! And that doesnt mean that milk is less. 3. Your baby is still too young to need too much milk. At 20 days baby's tummy size is about the size of a small lemon. 4. Babies cry for many reasons not just hunger - they want to be close to the mother and be comforted by contact or suckling. Try as much skin to skin contact as possible and co-sleeping - this will calm the baby & build your supply.
