Hi. I am 10 weeks pregnant and from 25th May flights are resuming. I would like to travel back to my home but on airline website it's mentioned pregnant ladies are not allowed to travel. I am planning to not to share about my pregnancy with them. Please advise if it will be safe for me to travel and will there be any complications. Please be informed that journey time is just 2 hours. Will there be any scanning over there which can harm my baby.

Baby will not be harmed by scanning but your health will be at stake which will eventually effect your baby due to covid also as it is not recommended to fly during first trimester in our opinion u should not travel. Take care

Hi Sameera it's not recommended to travel during first 3 months , and with the current covid situation you should not be travelling at all. You are more prone to this virus , please stay wherever you are. It's safe for you and your unborn baby.

it is not advisable to travel by plane during the first trimester of pregnancy, you may suffer from the pains typical of the first few months of pregnancy under zero gravity.
Usually you’ll have to carry a certificate from your gyneac to fly.
