It's best for labor to start naturally and this can happen anytime between week 37 to 42. This depends on the womb environment and how well the baby is being nourished in the womb. Only an elective c section can have a planned date. If you decide to induce labor and the baby is not ready it can actually make labor longer and more painful and eventually result in a surgical birth.

a fullterm pregnancy is 40 weeks. if you are planning a cesarean you will have to wait for atleast 38 weeks to finish. otherwise just wait till your little one decides to come out. be active and take a walk daily. most women will deliver by the 39th week, some go on to finish 40. look up signs of labor to know what to expect!
