hi kamalini, i can understand your concern. i too almost bought it. but i discovered, babies are built in such a way that all these things are taken care of by nature. unless the floor is rough like a cement floor, baby's knee is not even going to skin. we tend to compare with our knees, but babies knees are not hard yet, so it does not hurt. leave it as it is...

it's ok..I didn't have it either..just cover the edges of the table, or any edgy things..rest is <u>fine</u>
