You can use playmat by kitchen door from where you can keep an eye on him.. sing to him, talkto him, keep going to him every few minutes so he dosent feel alone....he is still small to play alone..

Hi Manisha to be Frank my 14 months old daughter still can't play alone and she needs me now and then. Keep giving toys and talk to the baby, but this is the age where they will go through separation anxiety and will go through this.
