I did tradition method, every Jewelleri shop does in Bangalore.. gun shot is also good..

We did with traditional ear piercing.. dint have any problem so that is also safe.. you can get it done from any big jeweler here in Bangalore.. also some hospitals have the ear piercings options you can check those as well...
