Hi mommies. Today my DD is turning 5 months. I have to join my office within 15 days. I thought of taking my mom or MIL with me to take care of the baby. my mom is sick and my MIL is not ready to move from my native. I work in Bangalore and my native is around 200kms away from Bangalore. I have put so much of hard work to reach a good position at my office. my office don't have the option of work from home. My in laws are asking me to quit the job or if I want to continue work I have to leave the baby in my native. If I think of this I'm getting head ache. I don't want to do both. Im totally not interested in leaving my daughter with my in-laws. I can't feed her. I even don't want to quit my job. Even my husband is sailing in my in-law's boat. Don't know what to do. Pls suggest what I can do. I'm getting nervous when I think of these. How do working women manage in these situations.

Hi dear, if you don't want to leave your job pls don't. It's much worse having anhappy mother at home. Talk to your hubby. Maybe a good day care in your neighborhood can help smoothen things. You have earned this position. Your baby needs a role model too. We all are here for any help.

Dear I will suggest that go for day care option till your mom can't move with you..it is more secure than a nanny kind of set up..it will be great if it's near your office..they have some kind of reputation and name to gaurd so are responsible...you can tell them about your child's routine..meet people there and get assurance on hygeine.. safety.. behavior towards kids..that's really important..
