As per Advised by our Momstar Shweta - Shayna do not worry abt writing part as she is too small. let her scribble for few days on paper or a book with crayons. Then later start with standing line, sleeping line and thereafter slanting line. once she understands give her sit alphabets..she will learn as well enjoy. once she goes to school she will develop interest looking at others. as of now she is alone so may be not much intersted interested in writing part. U can always teach her orally. Do not go in a typical style like Abc or numbers. Academics is not a problem at all they 'll learn by default. At this age important is to U can tell her lot of things repeatedly. She may not tell u immediately but if i keep repeating things to her she will remember. U don't have to give up. numbers and alphabets is all tote rote learning and they will definitely learn wen they go to school. if u need anything else u can call me dear. Even my son 'll be 3 this month end

Hi Shyna. My child is also 3 years and I have never forced him to write any alphabets. At this age I feel learning alphabets should not be rushed. The more we force our children the more fear or resistance they tend to build at this age. Pls do check our FUN articles on learning with DIY activities. Try making learning fun using paint , books etc.

she is just 3 so please relax... it's too early to force her to read n write . please take it slow. Not even schools teach them to read n write at this age. even if u want her to recognise alphabets, do it in a fun, in way of rhymes, picture books.
