Hi, my 4 month baby girl cannot sleep on her own. She doesn't fall asleep on craddle, swing or bed irrespective of what we do. She cries a lot when she is sleepy, mostly at night and occasionally during day time. We tried everything we read or heard from others including going pin drop silence, dimming the lights. She cries on top of her lungs and gradually falls asleep only if we rock her with our arms. This has been going on every single night for the last 5-6 weeks. Any suggestions please?

Hii madhu, if rocking helps...Rock the baby and make her calm first.. when you feel she is now in a sleep mode gently put her down and pat on back. <br>
Baby is too small to sleep on her own... After few weeks she will relate patting on back to sleep and this will help.
