same happened with my daughter,white pus came out then we consulted our paedritician,she adviced clean with betadine lotion n put lot of betadine sprinkling powder,should go inside the navel,main purpose is to keep the area dry.dnt give bath.if this does not solve the <u>problem</u>,then salt therapy would be required.in our case,betadine thing worked.

It l take some tym. for my niece n my son pediatrician had told to keep rock salt on the baby s navel,it heals faster.

please do not apply anything without considering doctor. keeping the area dry and clean will heal it naturally. however, if the swelling does not reduce pls have a check with your pediatrician
