It is understandable what you are feeling and at a young age. However diabetes is a very controllable illness and many people live a full life even with diabetes. You have to focus on your child and look at that as the bright spot. If you feel the need for speak with a counselor who will help you gain some perspective. At times just speaking to someone and letting go of your feelings can help.
